We help organisations use digital and AI technologies in ways that make sense for their people, their users, and their goals. NashMind Consulting focuses on practical, ethical solutions that improve human experience, not abstract theory or hype. Every engagement is grounded in clarity, responsibility, and outcomes that actually matter.
Artificial Intelligence is no longer confined to the realm of science-fiction; it is here, it is accessible and businesses of every size and sector are under growing pressure to adopt it.
But in the race to keep up or to combat FOMO, a critical question is often overlooked: are we actually ready for this?
The honest answer? For most businesses, it is: not yet.
And this is not a criticism, it is a starting point, as long as you know how to fix it. In this guide, we explore the 5 signs your business is not ready with real-world examples.

How we work together
The AI Leadership you need… without a £150k hire.
AI is now a board-level issue, yet few firms have anyone whose actual job is to own it. A Chief AI Officer costs £150k+ fully loaded, plus the risk of hiring the wrong one in a field that reinvents itself every few months. It's a commitment most companies can't justify, for a seat they increasingly can't do without.
Our AI Advisory Retainer gives you that seat, fractionally: senior AI leadership in the room, without the headcount, the recruitment risk, or the salary. It rests on three pillars:
Stay ahead — we scan the horizon so you're never blindsided, translating what's genuinely relevant to your business and filtering out the noise.
Stay focused — we own your AI roadmap, sense-check ideas before you spend, evaluate vendors impartially, and make sure initiatives actually land rather than stall.
Stay safe — we keep your AI governance current and your business on the right side of fast-evolving regulation, reviewing every new use case for risk.
The result is a no-brainer: a single misstep, i.e. a wrong platform, a stalled project, a compliance gap will cost more than a year of this retainer. You're not adding overhead; you're buying down risk and buying up clarity, for a fraction of what getting AI wrong would cost you.

Introducing g.r.a.c.e
A practical guide for building and integrating AI agents within company workflows — covering not just the technical and governance dimensions of deployment, but the human ones: how people interact with agents, whether they trust them, and how context and judgment are handled at the edges of a workflow where neat rules break down.
Contact us to discover how we can apply our G.R.A.C.E. framework to your organisation
-
Governance - defines the organisational infrastructure that surrounds an agent. Without it, even a well-designed agent operates in a vacuum: there is no authority to approve changes, no named individual responsible when things go wrong, and no process to shut it down safely. Governance is not bureaucracy for its own sake; it is the foundation that makes everything else sustainable.
-
Risk in agentic AI is multidimensional. It spans technical risk (hallucinations, adversarial inputs, dependency failures), operational risk (workflow disruption, compounding errors), reputational risk (customer harm, loss of confidence), and regulatory risk (compliance breach, data exposure). A risk-first approach surfaces these before deployment (not after) and maintains a living picture of risk as the agent and its environment evolve.
-
Autonomy is not binary. It exists on a spectrum from fully supervised to fully autonomous, and the right level at any point in time depends on three things: the stakes of the workflow, the agent's demonstrated reliability, and whether the agent has sufficient contextual judgment to handle the full range of scenarios it will encounter. Granting autonomy faster than trust is earned is one of the most consistent failure patterns in agent deployment.
-
Capability has two dimensions that must both be assessed before deployment. The first is technical: what can the agent do reliably, where does its performance degrade, and what are its known failure modes? The second is human: will the people working alongside this agent understand it well enough to use it correctly, trust it at the right level, and catch its errors before they propagate? Both dimensions are necessary. A technically capable agent deployed into an environment of miscalibrated trust will fail just as surely as one with poor underlying performance.
-
Evaluation is the mechanism that closes the loop on everything else in the framework. Without it, governance decisions become stale, risk assessments lose relevance, autonomy levels are never revisited, and capability mismatches go undetected. Evaluation is not a one-time exercise at launch, it is the ongoing discipline that keeps the agent trustworthy, and the feedback mechanism that routes findings back into Governance, Risk, Autonomy, and Capability as the agent and its environment evolve.
About us
Who we are
I’m Sonia Nash, the founder and lead consultant at NashMind Consulting Ltd, with over 15 years of experience helping organisations transform how they work. My background spans finance, procurement and IT, where I’ve led and supported complex transformation initiatives across a range of industries, from manufacturing and consumer goods to entertainment and public sector.
Most recently, I served as Head of Business AI at SAP UK&I, where I worked closely with organisations to shape their AI strategies and translate emerging capabilities into real business value. In this role, I helped clients in both public and private sectors move beyond experimentation and hype by identifying practical use cases, embedding AI into core business processes, and ensuring solutions were aligned with governance, ethics, and long-term adoption. In parallel, I led SAP’s AI go-to-market strategy in the UK&I market unit, achieving both an award for Market Unit of the year and 184% of sales target in 2025.
Don’t let my years at SAP mislead you: I am tech-agnostic; before joining SAP in 2020, I implemented Oracle solutions from design to Go-Live at a variety of large multinationals primarily in Finance and Procurement. I also managed the creation of new teams and new operating procedures that are still in use today. My deep business process knowledge coupled with a wide technology ecosystem experience and a consulting background make me a real asset to any business transformation project. Grounding the theory into real-world scenarios is where I excel.
My experience in AI has not only been shaped by years in the tech industry, but also by having completed Oxford University’s AI programme in 2024. I have hands-on experience with building entire workflows and applications via Microsoft Azure Studio and Claude Code and I have built my own Agentic AI framework (the G.R.A.C.E. framework) to ensure ethical and secure AI development, which in my opinion are key and sadly overlooked in AI development.
Over the years, I’ve seen first-hand how digital and intelligent solutions succeed (and fail) depending on how well they consider people, ethics, and practical reality. That experience shapes everything I do today, from my customer engagements to my volunteering work. The "we" in "Who We Are" reflects the trusted professionals I collaborate with when needed—from developers and designers to CFOs and other specialists—allowing me to assemble the right expertise for each client's unique needs while remaining your primary point of contact.
NashMind Consulting Ltd exists to offer clear, impartial, and human-centred advice: cutting through hype to help organisations adopt technology in ways that genuinely work for their teams and their users as well as actually delivering tangible business value.
